This case involves the neglect of our client, a 92-year-old man suffering from congestive heart failure, kidney disease, and hypertension. Our client was admitted to a skilled nursing facility to rehabilitate after being hospitalized. It was the duty of the facility to create a specialized care plan for our client. However, this was not the case. Our client was left unsupervised, and as a result, fell out of his bed during the night and badly hurt himself. He later passed away due to the injuries he sustained as a result of the fall. This case settled confidentially for $300,500.00.
